Abigail (Abby) Klitzing is a New York based designer, tailor, costumer, and stylist. She has been trained in bespoke tailoring at The Tailoring Academy in Macclesfield, England. She is also a member of IATSE Local 829.

She has worked in costume departments for years, working as a production assistant, costume coordinator, costume designer, and stylist. After coming back from England, she intends on focusing more on tailoring for clients and in costume departments.

Within design, Abby’s interest lies within sustainability. How can we make a garment last for generations to come? How can we mend what we have to last? How about re-using fabric from previously loved garments?

Her style is diverse- of course, classic lines are just that- classic. It will never go out of style; something that lends itself to sustainability. But there is the excitement of pushing the boundaries in design, to break rules. She aims to help guide her clients no matter which direction they choose to go.

The goal is to make a garment you will love for a lifetime or longer.
